
Food Stories: The most delicious culinary story
Even though the season is ending, we continue to prepare extraordinary dishes for you to enjoy. After the visit of chef Ippei Uemura, we took part in the Food Stories manifestation. From October 6 to 13, we prepared amazing dishes for our guests and had an excellent time together.
A great time in October
The Food Stories manifestation was held as part of the first Split Gastronomy Month organized by the Split Tourist Board and the City of Split. In October, all residents and visitors could enjoy top-notch specialties prepared by amazing Split chefs. The manifestation aimed to promote Split as a renowned eno-gastro destination, which is precisely why our restaurant participated too.
A memorable gastro experience
As always, spent a lot of time thinking about what to offer and in the end came up with an irresistible three-course combination. The first course was royal ceviche made from the finest tuna, shrimp, Gillardeau oysters, Jacob’s caps, and orange. We added up red onion cream, sprinkled with black olive powder, balanced everything with some cashews, and added a bit of caviar for taste. To round the combination up, we added gin iced tea and oyster juice. A perfect prelude to the rest of the evening! After this starter, the only logical option was to continue with fresh Adriatic tuna sushi rolls in various combinations. Of course, it was impossible to skip a delicious dessert to complete the rhapsody of tastes and aromas. Thanks to all our visitors, we had a blast cooking for you!
