Shrimps: The Most Versatile Seafood Delicacy

These incredibly versatile cousins of much more well-known and undeservedly distinguished langoustines are ideal for preparing a wide variety of dishes from virtually all the world’s cuisines that have any contact with the sea, and can be enjoyed throughout the year.

 

Nourishing and irresistibly delicious, cooked in almost a second and with an aroma that immediately evokes the joys of the sea, shrimps have enriched national menus all over the world. In Mexico, they will be wrapped in tacos; in the Middle East, they will be served with couscous; in Italy, they give pasta dishes a rosy appeal and seafood flair; in Spain, you will find them in every paella; and in Japan, they are most popular when fast-fried in tempura.
