Vege snacks for sushi lovers
If you hesitate to invite your veggie best friend to a sushi restaurant, don’t! Sushi can be made without fish or seafood and we assure you those snacks are no less tasty.
Contrary to popular belief, sushi is not raw fish but bitter rice! This rice is usually used for raw fish fermentation, but you can have it in a vegetarian dish too.
Avocado and cucumber – green secrets of vegetarian sushi
Nigiri and sashimi are all about fish so they are out of the question for hardcore vegetarians to whom maki or uramaki will suit better. Maki is a rice roll with a tasty filling usually made of cucumber or avocado. Therefore, it’s perfect for those who are not fans of fish and seafood.
The taste of sea doesn’t depend on fish at all
Veggie uramaki is essentially a roll of rice with a filling similar to the one in maki with the difference being this one is coated in nori seaweed. You’ll find our vegetarian uramaki under the name Tiger Veggie Roll. It is made of vegetables in tempura, avocado and sesame. In addition to these ingredients, vegetarian meals can be made with other vegetables, mushrooms, smoked tofu or seitan in tempura. This means that both vegetarians and fish eaters can enjoy a large variety of Japanese classic meals in our restaurant. In addition to varying the ingredients used for tasty fillings, it’s possible to combine other seaweed like wakame, combu or arame. Your palate will simply love it!
